The “New Music Show” is coming back

11am-1pm Pacific

"Your Friend KEVIN" plays all the submitted music (regardless of genre) from "Unsigned", "Unknown", & "Unheard of" artists, composers, musicians, producers, rappers, and singer/songwriters. Even newly released music, as well as some unknown and unheard-of gems from well-known artists, gets played. Tune into the show and prepare your ears as we widen your listening palette.

Would you like your music played on the show? Use the “Submit” button below to send it to us and we will first play it on the show, then place it in our regular rotation.

Your submission will not be accepted if the following instructions are not followed (yes, we do accept censored & non-censored music):

  • Send your audio/music files in .aiff or 320K MP3 file format.

  • Send a link to download your music file(s) via Dropbox, GDrive, WeTransfer, OneDrive, etc.(streaming links are not accepted).

    • We accept Bandcamp links if the songs are free downloads.

    • Currently, DJ Mixes are not accepted

    • Streaming links are NOT accepted (no Amazon Music, Apple Music, Deezer, Spotify, Tidal, etc.)

  • You can send one song, an album/EP, or your entire catalog we will play it (2 songs per show).

  • Songs need to be at least 2 minutes in duration and no longer than 10 minutes

  • Please ID3 tag your music with the following info (Required for royalty recording):

    • Artist/Group Name

    • Song Title

    • Album/EP Title

    • Genre

    • BPM

    • Album Art


Yes, the station pays royalties in the US, Canada, Mexico, and the UK. The US is covered through ASCAP, BMI, SESAC, GMR, SoundExchange, AllTrack, and Word Collections; Canada is covered through SOCAN and Re:Sound; Mexico is covered through SACM and SOMEXFON; and the UK is covered through PPL and PRS for Music.
